I was Spring Blog Hopping hosted by HOOSIER HOMEMADE I just love her site she always has fun things going on and I participate in her CUPCAKE TUESDAY EVERY WEEK While HOPPING around I found these cute MACAROON CHICKS OVER AT CREATED BY DIANE
I had to share them I am so making these for my Easter dinner Party I am sure they will be a big hit, here is a picture and the recipe!!!

These are large macaroons
made with 16 oz coconut
4 egg whites
8T flour
1/4 tsp salt
1tsp vanilla
mix all ingredients together
using a 1/2 cup measuring scoop
form into an egg shape then roll in additional coconut
bake at 300 degrees for 30 minutes
the fondant pieces I made before I baked the macaroons
insert a toothpick to make a hole for the fondant pieces
( I made the fondant the day before and will be posting on how easy it was to make later this week)
and place an almond for the beak

and they are sitting on edible grass
be sure to check out her site for information on how to make the FONDANT PIECES  later this week I will update this post when she does post it and I am sure she will tell how to make that edible grass as well..
