I made chocolate cupcakes from a box and made some frosting for them before I assembled them. Here is the frosting recipe I used:
1 box powdered
sugar
1 stick salted
butter at room temp.
1/4 cup milk
1 tea. vanilla
Combine and beat
until creamy.
When the cupcakes
have cooled, place one with the bottom side down, into each jar. Add a layer of frosting.
Put another cupcake
on top of the first layer of frosting,
add even more
frosting,
screw on the lid.
I cut 5
inch squares of cupcake fabric,
then I used my pinking
shears to make them cute and all.
I cut notches in the middle of each square and then
wove ribbon
through and tied bows. Are these not cute???
They where a big hit...
