I think we need shirts like this don't you????OK so I am 40+ married to a wonderful man "JAY" we just got married last Nov. so I am a 40+ newleywed, I said I would never remarry after having been married for 23 years, in a very abusive situation...with the help of the two other loves of my life my sons Kyle and Kayle I got out alive and have moved on to a better life. We recently moved to Branson, Mo. and I love it here. We moved to a log cabin at the lake, its awesome...
Jay works at SILVER DOLLAR CITY, He loves it, I am on disability due to a car accident that I was in 8 years ago that turned my life upside down, helped me get out of my bad marriage and become who I am today, finally a much more happier person..blogging is my passion, I have met some really great people here and can't wait to meet all of the ladies in this wonderful 40 and over club :-) Who knows maybe we can all meet in person someday, that would be so much fun.., I have two sons they are both linesman's working for electric company's I am so proud of the men they have become, I just think its time they give me a grand baby,( is that to much to ask) hint hint ..oh and a girl would be nice I have three brothers and two sons and a male dog a girl in my life would be great...I also have a Boxer named Dozer the other man in my life....

ReplyDeleteSo nice to meet you. You gave a great recap of the turning points in your life. I married in 2005 when I was 44 although I had been living with him since 2002. Late bride, never married before, too many losers in my life before that to count and none that I would even consider marrying.
ReplyDeleteI had my first and only child at the age of 45 (no fertility treatments - what a shock that was!)
I have 4 step children, all adults who are wonderful except for the youngest daughter who is the final holdout. She was just starting to come around when her nosy mother found my blog and starting emailing a post I did outlining the problems I've had with said stepdaughter.
Well, a real mess. If you want to read more about that mess, I'll be posting it this coming Friday.
Never a dull moment around here Lol!

Your sons are so handsome and they must be wonderful boys to have helped you get out of an abusive marriage. So glad to hear you have found a wonderful guy the second time around! I always say that one of the best surprises in my marriage is the fact that my husband makes me laugh all the time. When you're young and thinking about what to look for in a man, you don't always think of something like that but boy, laughter really helps you through stuff, doesn't it? Glad you found a man who treats you right and keeps you laughing too! :)

ReplyDeleteYes it is about time those boys give you a grand baby..I can tell you it will be the greatest most overwhelming love you have ever felt! A friend of mine had 4 boys and was the only girl in her family with 4 brothers..her first grand child..twin girls!
