FALL IS IN THE AIR!!!

Can you believe Summer is almost over?? It's one of those bittersweet things, on one hand we love the warm days of summer..but I must admit Fall is my favorite time of the year. I love the colors in the air, the flavors of fall, pumpkins, scarecrows, fall festivals, etc... I just can't say enough I love it, My husband works at SILVER DOLLAR CITY in Branson, Mo. I haven't went yet since the fall festival started Saturday but its on my list for this week I can't wait to post pictures he said it looks and smells awesome, I can't send the smells through here but pictures yes...but to get your taste buds going for fall I thought I would share some of my favorite fall recipes.

Both start with a rich pastry dough, but fruit tarts typically have less filling and no top crust. Some, such as this one, are made free-form and baked on a cookie sheet. To make a couple of smaller tarts like the one shown, simply divide the dough in half and split the filling between the two shells
