| Through MY BLOG SPARK and Pillsbury I got the chance to review Pillsbury Grands Biscuits, I thought I would find these in the canned section but after receiving the coupon I figured out they are located in the frezer section of the store, I had never tried them and was quite impressed with them. With these biscuits you get to Bring the mouthwatering aroma of fresh-baked biscuits to your kitchen Each 70-calorie biscuit is a delight when served hot from the oven, with a warm fluffy center and golden, flaky crust. Pillsbury® Grands!® Mini Biscuits are the perfect size for kids, or for mini sandwiches and appetizers. There are countless recipe options, from miniature ham sandwiches come lunchtime, to delicious sliders for nighttime entertaining. There are so many ways to make these biscuits and your family will love trying each one. I made this recipe and it was so good and a hit with my family. They were so easy to make... for each one I took a thawed biscuit, 1 egg, 1 T milk, 1 T butter, 2 slices bacon, and a slice of cheese. First I heated the oven to 350 degree's and baked the biscuits as stated on the bag, I cooled them for about 5 minutes..... Meanwhile, beat egg (which I made 12 so I did 12 of each ingriediant) and milk in bowl with fork until well mixed. In 7 or 8-inch nonstick skillet, heat butter over medium heat until melted. Add egg mixture; cook, stirring occasionally, until eggs are desired doneness and still moist.Split biscuits horizontally. Layer cooked eggs, bacon and cheese on bottom halves of biscuits; top with biscuit tops. They were just as good as anything you would get at McDonald's..so yummy I served them with orange juice and made my own hashbrowns using my salad shooter it was a great start to our day!!!! This is what I got in the mail from My blog Spark and Pillsbury and get give one of my readers the same chance to get.. Along with a $15.00 gift card for Wal-mart and a $1.00 off coupon for the biscuits... So what do you need to win? Follow my blog or let me know you already do. ReplyDeleteA recipe to try with Grands Biscuts is to use them as dumplings on top of stews, like beef stew or chicken stew. Just put the uncooked dough on the bubbling stew, put the lid to the pot on, let cook about 20 minutes and there you have wonderful easy dumplings without all the mess of making them yourself. (You may want to cut the biscuts in 1/2 or quarters)

It isn't really a recipe, but we used to flatten the biscuits a little, brush them with melted butter, roll them in a mixture of 1/2 cinnamon and 1/2 sugar, cut little slits around the outside edge so it looks like a flower, put a maraschino cherry half in the center and bake according to baking instructions on the package. Easy Peasy.

ReplyDeleteAn easy dinner recipe is to spread a layer of leftover or store-bought mashed potatoes in the bottom of a baking dish. Spread a large can of Dinty Moore Beef Stew on top of that. Then top it with the Grands Biscuits and bake.
ReplyDeletePour Dinty Moore Beef Stew into a casserole or baking dish and top it with Grands Biscuits. Bake and you've got a tasty dinner.

I don't know if it counts as a recipe, but my husband loves when I use the biscuits this way:
ReplyDeletefry bacon, as much as you'd want to eat as a side
use some of the bacon drippings and make gravy as per a recipe from allrecipes or some other online site
cook the biscuits according to directions
scramble two eggs in the slight bit of bacon grease left in the pan after you wipe it out
serve piping hot biscuits smothered in gravy, with bacon and eggs on the side and a cup of cold OJ.
